The Inner Sunset Branch - Online Zine Experiment in Story and Place
What happens when art, storytelling, and community come together with intention?
Project 1046 is a pop-up residency exploring the power of shared narratives, embodied memory, and radical belonging. As a longtime Inner Sunset native, I am applying what I’ve learned about resilience, the transformative abilities of art, and the wisdom of networks to create activations in the neighborhood.
This two-week residency proposes a series of art swarms—collective acts of creation and gathering—to surface hidden stories, reimagine belonging as a birthright (not something to earn), and weave new connections.
More than an event—this is an evolving, participatory experiment in creative community-building. Rooted in collaboration, mutual aid, and interdependence, Tales from the Mycelial invites artists, writers, storytellers, and thinkers of all backgrounds to co-create experiences that challenge, nourish, and inspire.
